The Shearwater Skating Club is a not for profit skating club that operates from the Shearwater Arena at 12 Wing Shearwater, Nova Scotia.

 

The Club offers skating lessons and programs for skaters just learning to skate through experienced skaters who compete provincially and nationally.

 

The club is open to military members and civilians and is a non-public funds entity of the Department of National Defence. This basically means that the Department of National Defence ultimately manages the Club’s funds.

 

The Shearwater Skating Club employs several coaches but other coaches may be welcome to join our sessions with their skaters.
